We had the pleasure of working on this beautiful period property, where the clients have brought about a complete transformation, with great interior designs. Mixing a modern contemporary feel with one of tradition, incorporating stunning period features, enhancing the property’s age.
We were commissioned to supply and install a bespoke handmade period staircase incorporating a panelled under stair cupboard in the vast new extension, along with solid oak 6 panelled entrance and side doors, a pair of bespoke period oak doors to the kitchen, with a number of period panelled interior tulipwood doors and linings. The tulipwood doors were all made to measure and delivered primed ready for decorating.
To the original part of the house, we were commissioned to refurbish the existing staircase which stretched over 3 floors, replacing handrails, balustrade, finials, aprons and strings to return this beautiful staircase to its former glory. We also recreated a stunning period study, with solid oak panelling, incorporating a hand carved overmantel as a focal point, with bookcases to either side.
