In many houses the staircase is already positioned in the most appropriate part of the house, although we have found, especially in period properties and listed buildings, the decorative features may be lacking, or the staircase simply needs bringing back to life having been subjected to many years of wear. In these cases, we are able to refurbish the existing staircase and reinstate any period features by replacing newel posts, balusters, handrails and finials to create a feeling of opulence and grandeur, or simply giving your tired staircase a new lease of life.
