We specialise in 16th, 17th and 18th century style oak wall panelling, beautifully handmade and fitted by our own craftsmen. The styles vary depending on individual requirements and the period of house and can incorporate a hand carved frieze and pilasters, with some preferring an aged painted finish to the more traditional aged and polished finish.
We produce oak panelling to suit a variety of applications, from dado height to full height panelling, from a feature wall to a full room. We can incorporate secret doorways giving that extra special something and replicate any panelling detail that pre-exist in your home.
In the early 16th century, many Somerset long rooms were divided by a ‘plank and muntin’ screen incorporating a door or pair of doors creating smaller, cosier rooms.
